Account Linking and Transfer Guide

By linking Apple ID and Puzzle & Dragons game data, players can transfer game data between iOS devices, or restore game data even if the game data is initialized.

*The “Sign in with Apple” function that links the Apple ID is available for iOS 13 or later.

Account Linking Guide

1. Launch Puzzle & Dragons, and from the [Others] on the bottom menu, tap [Device Change/Account Linking] > [Account Linking].

​2. Select “Sign in with Apple” and log in.

3. The Apple ID that logged in to the game is registered, and Account Linking is now complete.

Account Unlinking Guide

1. Launch Puzzle & Dragons, and from the [Others] on the bottom menu, tap [Device Change/Account Linking] > [Account Linking].

2. Select the “Unlink Account” button to disconnect from the Puzzle & Dragons side. The Account Linking will remain on the Apple ID side, so please disconnect from the Apple ID side as well.

Game Data Transfer Guide Using Account Linking

1. Install Puzzle & Dragons on the new device.

 

2. When launching the app for the first time, do not choose a name, and instead select the [Transfer Game Data Using an External Account] option.

3. After confirming the [Transfer using an external account] screen, continue by pressing “Yes”.

4. Select “Sign in with Apple” and log in.

5. Please confirm the Linking Authentication Screen, and continue by pressing "Continue with Passcode"

​6. When the Data Confirmation Screen is displayed, please confirm that the ID, in-game name, and other data are correct before tapping “Yes”.

7. Game Data Transfer is now complete.

​* Please restart the app before playing.

Game Data Transfer Warnings

  • Please make sure you have a good signal before transferring game data.

  • An Account Linking may only have one game data registered to it.

  • For more information on the registered Apple ID, or how to set up an Apple ID, etc., please contact Apple Support.

  • Please do not forget the registered Apple ID.

  • Please do not attempt to transfer game data during the Tutorial. The Tutorial and gameplay later on may be affected by unforeseen bugs or issues.

  • As of September 13, 2023 (UTC-8), the Account Linking function can only be used on iOS devices.

Q1: What is Account Linking?

A1: By linking Apple ID and Puzzle & Dragons game data, you can transfer game data between iOS devices, or restore game data even if the game data is initialized.

 

Q2: I have progressed in the game after performing the Account Linking registration. Will my progress in the game be transferred?

A2: The most current game data that was sent to the server will be transferred.

 

Q3: Is there a way to check the Apple ID that the Account Linking is registered to?

A3:  There is no way to check the Apple ID that the Account Linking is registered to. If you are not sure which Apple ID your Account Linking is registered to, please follow the Account Linking Guide again.

 

Q4: How can I change the Apple ID linked to my game data?

A4:  You can change the Apple ID by following the Account Linking Guide again.

*The registered Apple ID will be changed after logging in with the Apple ID that you want to change to.
