P&D Pass Frequently Asked Questions

What is P&D PASS?

P&D Pass is a monthly subscription service $8.99 USD ($11.99CAD) per month, automatically charged monthly) which unlocks special features and bonuses for Puzzle & Dragons.

How to Purchase

P&D Pass can be purchased from iOS or Android (Google Play Store).

Please tap [Shop] > [P&D PASS] from inside the app to purchase.

Purchased P&D Pass will be effective for 1 month. Once you purchase P&D Pass, the subscription will be renewed every month before it expires, unless canceled before the automatic renewal.


*The payment method may vary between each mobile app store.

*It may take some time before the bonuses are reflected to your account after purchasing P&D Pass.

*Please see the section titled [About the Subscription Period] below for details on the subscription period.

*Please see the section titled [About Canceling Your Subscription] below if you wish to stop the automatic renewals.


About the Free Trial

You can enjoy the perks of P&D Pass, free of charge, for 1 week. To activate the free trial, please tap [Shop] > [P&D PASS] and follow the instructions.


*The free trial for P&D Pass can only be accessed once per Puzzle & Dragons account.


Please note that if you do not manually cancel the automatic renewal on the free trial, your P&D Pass will automatically be renewed and your account will be charged.

If you wish to end the free trial and avoid being charged, please make sure to cancel your free trial at least 24 hours prior to the end of the free trial period.


*If you wish to cancel, please aim to do so when the Pass screen shows [2 days remaining] at the latest.


About Ending the Free Trial

You will automatically be signed up for the monthly subscription service and will incur recurring charges if you do not manually cancel the P&D Pass subscription.

If you wish to end the free trial and avoid being charged, please make sure to cancel your free trial at least 24 hours prior to the end of the free trial period.


*If you wish to cancel, please aim to do so when the Pass screen shows [2 days remaining] at the latest.

*Please see the section titled [About Canceling Your Subscription] below if you wish to stop the automatic renewals.

*You will be charged for a month of P&D Pass if you cancel the subscription after your subscription is renewed.

*The perks and bonuses for P&D Pass will be effective until 3:59 AM (UTC-8) of the day following the last day of your subscription period.


About the Subscription Period

P&D Pass subscription is effective for 1 month.


Please note that different months may have different number of days that P&D Pass is effective for.


◆ Cases where the subscription period ends on the same day of the following month


E.g.: If P&D Pass was purchased on 6/1, P&D Pass will be effective until 7/1.


◆ Cases where the subscription period ends on the closest day of the following month


E.g.: If P&D Pass was purchased on 1/31, P&D Pass will be effective until 2/28.


If P&D Pass was purchased on 3/31, P&D Pass will be effective until 4/30.


*The perks and bonuses for P&D Pass will be effective until 3:59 AM (UTC-8) of the day following the last day of your subscription period.


About the Automatic Renewal

As P&D Pass is an automatically renewing monthly subscription service, you won’t need to manually renew your subscription at the end of each subscription period to continue enjoying the perks and bonuses of P&D Pass.


Please note that if you wish to stop the automatic renewal, you must cancel your subscription. Please see the section titled [About Canceling Your Subscription] below if you wish to stop the automatic renewals.


About Canceling Your Subscription

Please follow the instructions below in order to cancel your P&D Pass subscription.

Please note that simply uninstalling Puzzle & Dragons from your device will not cancel your subscription.


To cancel your subscription, go to: Shop>P&D Pass and tap the ‘Cancel P&D Pass’ button at the bottom of the page.


*The Subscription status of the P&D Pass will be displayed via the App Store/Google Play Store with the Apple ID/Google Account currently logged in. 

  • If you are logged into the store with an account that was not used at the time of the P&D Pass purchase, please log in once more with the account connected to your P&D Pass purchase.

  • If you have switched to a different OS than what was initially used for the P&D Pass purchase, please follow the Support page steps below to effectively cancel your subscription to P&D Pass.

[iOS] Launch the [App Store] app and tap the icon on the top right-hand corner.

Launch the [App Store] app

Android (Google Play Store) Launch the [Play Store] app, and from the [≡] side menu, tap [Subscriptions].


*If you do not see a [Subscriptions] menu option, select  [Account] from the [≡] side menu, and tap [Subscriptions]

⇒On the [Manage Subscriptions] page, tap [Cancel subscription]

*Even if you cancel your subscription in the middle of the subscription period, you will not receive a prorated refund for the remaining subscription period.


*The perks and bonuses for P&D Pass will be effective until 3:59 AM (UTC-8) of the day following the last day of your subscription period.


*Please note that simply uninstalling Puzzle & Dragons from your device will not cancel your subscription.


*Play data that has gone through [Delete Account] cannot be recovered under any circumstances.

About the Subscription Period and the Timing of Canceling Automatic Renewal

P&D Pass is effective for 1 month from the date of purchase.


The date listed as the end of the subscription period in-game will be 1 month from the date of purchase. The number of days of the remaining subscription period displayed here will decrease each night at 12:00 AM (UTC-8).


Please note that the automatic renewal will take place at least 24 hours prior to the 12:00 AM (UTC-8) of the last day of the subscription period. If you wish to unsubscribe from the service and not incur a charge, please do so at least 24 hours prior to 12:00 AM (UTC-8) of the last day of the subscription period.


*If you wish to cancel, please aim to do so when the Pass screen shows [2 days remaining], at the latest.


*The perks and bonuses for P&D Pass will be effective until 3:59 AM (UTC-8) of the day following the last day of your subscription period.

In Case of a Device Transfer

If you transfer your account data to another device while subscribed to P&D Pass, please note that your P&D Pass will stay active until 3:59 AM (UTC-8) of the day following the last day of your subscription period as normal.


Please see below for two possible situations following this deactivation.


① If the new device is on the same OS as the previous device (iOS to iOS, Android to Android): the subscription will be automatically renewed close to the end of the subscription period!


Your P&D Pass subscription status will automatically be renewed and your subscription will continue to stay active until canceled.


② If the new device is on a different OS from the previous device (iOS to Android, Android to iOS): please cancel your automatic renewal on your old device and re-purchase P&D Pass on your new device!


Your P&D Pass will stay active until 3:59 AM (UTC-8) of the day following the last day of your subscription period as normal. Please use the new mobile app store (App Store/Google Play Store) to re-purchase P&D Pass after your P&D Pass expires.


If you do not cancel your subscription in your previous mobile app store, you will continue to be charged for automatic renewal each month until you cancel.


Please be sure to cancel your subscription if you are switching OSes.


★★★ Important ★★★ Automatic renewals and monthly charges will continue to incur until you have manually canceled your subscription, regardless of P&D Pass’s subscription status in-game. In other words, it is possible for the subscription to renew without you receiving the perks and bonuses of P&D Pass in-game following a device or account transfer.


If you are either changing your mobile app store (between OSes) or your Apple ID/Google Account, please be sure to cancel your previous subscription before purchasing a new subscription in order to avoid any additional charges.


Please be warned that even if you purchase P&D Pass on multiple mobile app stores or Apple ID/Google Accounts, you will not receive extra perks or bonuses nor would you qualify for a refund regarding duplicate charges on your accounts.

Changing Your Apple ID/Google Account Used to Purchase Subscription

If you wish to change the Apple ID/Google Account used to purchase the P&D Pass subscription, please be sure to cancel the subscription on the Apple ID/Google Account currently being used to subscribe to P&D Pass first.


After 3:59 AM (UTC-8) of the day following the last day of the subscription, you will be able to use a different Apple ID/Google Account to re-subscribe to P&D Pass.


*Please see the section titled [About Canceling Your Subscription] above if you wish to cancel the subscription.


*Please be sure to cancel the subscription on the Apple ID/Google Account you previously used to subscribe to P&D Pass before purchasing a new subscription.


*Each Apple ID/Google Account can only be used to subscribe to P&D Pass for one Puzzle & Dragons account.


*Purchasing P&D Pass on multiple Apple IDs/Google Accounts will not grant any duplicate bonuses. Please note that we cannot issue refunds if you accidentally purchase P&D Pass on multiple Apple IDs/Google Accounts.

I Can’t Purchase P&D Pass

Please consider the following possibilities if you cannot successfully purchase P&D Pass. 

  • You may already have purchased P&D Pass on a different Apple ID/Google Account.  

  • You may have canceled your P&D Pass subscription, but your subscription period has not yet expired.  

  • (iOS Only) You may have purchased P&D Pass using this Apple ID on a different Puzzle & Dragons account.

*Please note that P&D Pass can only be purchased for one Puzzle & Dragons account per Apple ID. 

  • You may have insufficient funds or an expired credit card registered to your Apple ID/Google Account.

*Please note that P&D Pass cannot be purchased if the payment cannot be completed at the time of the free trial activation.


P&D Pass is Not Being Reflected Correctly in Game

If your P&D Pass subscription is not being reflected correctly due to an unexpected error, please check your Apple ID/Google Account to see if the subscription has been purchased successfully.


If your Apple ID/Google Account shows that you have successfully purchased the subscription but is not showing up on your Puzzle & Dragons account in game, please log out of your Apple ID/Google Account, log back into the account, and in Puzzle & Dragons app, tap [Shop] > [P&D PASS] > [Restore Purchase].

I Accidentally Purchased Subscriptions from Multiple OSes

Please be warned that even if you purchase P&D Pass on multiple mobile app stores or Apple ID/Google Accounts, you will not receive extra perks or bonuses nor would you qualify for a refund regarding duplicate charges on your accounts.


Please be sure to keep track of which Apple ID/Google Account you used to subscribe to P&D Pass yourself.


I Received a Subscription Cancellation Notification Without Canceling / Automatic Renewal Was Canceled Involuntarily

If the credit card registered to the Apple ID/Google Account is expired at the time of automatic renewal, or if your account balance wasn’t high enough to fully charge for the subscription, you may receive the subscription cancellation notification email and your automatic renewal may be canceled.


Please contact the respective mobile app store if this happens.

There Was a Charge I Do Not Remember Authorizing

Your account may still be being charged for P&D Pass after changing your device.


Please note that P&D Pass will not be canceled on its own even if you uninstall the Puzzle & Dragons app or change your device.


There is a possibility that your old subscription has not been canceled yet.


Please be sure to check the subscription status on the mobile app store in which the charges are coming from.


*Please see the section titled [About Canceling Your Subscription] above to see the status of your subscription.


Also, if you are sharing your Apple ID/Google Account with your family, please check with your family members.

About the Bonus Dungeons

The bonus dungeons will appear on a predetermined schedule.


Please refer to [Shop] > [P&D Pass] > [Schedule] to see the dungeon schedule.


*E.g., 1st of the Month Dungeon will appear on the 1st of each month - January 1st, February 1st, etc.


*You can access these dungeons from the day that you purchase your P&D Pass or activate your free trial.


*These dungeons are one-shot dungeons that can only be cleared once each, and will only be available for a limited time from the day that they become available.


*You will receive the predetermined rewards for clearing each dungeon. For the details of which rewards are available, please refer to the schedule.


*Please see the section titled [About the Bonus Dungeon Clear Rewards] below for more details on the bonus dungeon rewards.


About the Dungeons with Tiers

Select bonus dungeons will have “Tiers”.


Each time you clear a dungeon with a Tier, the subsequent appearance of the dungeon will be 1 Tier higher than the previous time you cleared the dungeon.


*The maximum Tier for tiered dungeons is Tier 5.


*Once a dungeon with Tiers has reached its highest Tier, all subsequent appearances of the same dungeon will be at the highest Tier.


*The Tier you reach will be saved for some time even after your subscription expires.


About the Bonus Dungeon Clear Rewards

After you clear each bonus dungeon, you will receive the rewards for the bonus dungeon in one of the two following ways: 

  • Receive the rewards upon clearing the dungeon

This includes monsters dropped in the dungeon as well as acquired Coins and EXP.  

  • Receive the rewards in a mail upon clearing the dungeon

Upon clearing select dungeons, you will receive a mail containing the clear rewards. 

*Players will receive the clear rewards in their in-game mail. Players can check their mail by accessing [Friend] > [Mail Box/Invites]. The mail may take some time to arrive.


*Gifts via in-game mail have expiration dates. Please note that when an in-game mail expires, attached rewards become unredeemable.


About Additional Team Slots

While your P&D Pass is active, you will have access to 5 additional team slots.


Please note that the additional slots will expire after 3:59 AM (UTC-8) of the day following the last day of your subscription period and will become unavailable for access.


About 5% Bonus Rank EXP

While your P&D Pass is active, you will gain 5% bonus Rank EXP upon clearing dungeons.


This bonus Rank EXP is only available when playing dungeons in Solo Play.


Please note that Multiplayer Mode dungeons (even if the game becomes Solo Play afterwards) are excluded from the 5% bonus Rank EXP.


About the Descended Dungeons to and All-Days Dungeons

All-Days Dungeon, as well as the Descended Series dungeons of Special Bonus #4, will be playable as soon as the P&D Pass is activated.

All-Days Dungeon and Descended Series dungeons will not award a first time clear bonus Magic Stone.  

*Dungeons that the player does not meet the Stamina requirements for will not be displayed in the Special Dungeons menu. Stamina overflow does not change this requirement.


About the P&D Pass Exclusive Badge

As soon as the P&D Pass is activated, the Unlimited Max Team Cost Badge will turn into a P&D Pass Exclusive Badge, which will extend Orb move time by 3 seconds.

In addition, Badges that are yet to be received will be available for use.


In the instance that the P&D Pass subscription has been canceled (including cancellation of the automatic renewal), any unreceived Badges will automatically revert back to the Unlimited Max Team Cost Badge after 3:59 AM (UTC-8) of the day following the last day of your subscription period.


*If a dungeon has a Special Rule that affects Orb move time and/or a Team Cost limit, the Special Rule will have priority.

*If a Leader Skill has a Orb move time limitation on a team, the Leader Skill will have priority. 

*The badge will only have its Unlimited Max Team Cost effect effective in 2-Player Mode.


The End of P&D Pass Subscription Period and Renewing the Subscription

The perks and bonuses of P&D Pass are active until 3:59 AM (UTC-8) of the day following the end of the subscription period.


◆Bonus Dungeons

The dungeon up to the last day of the subscription period will be available, and will remain available until the dungeon expires.


*E.g., If P&D Pass expires on December 12th: 

  • 12th of the Month Dungeon will be available, and will remain available until the dungeon expires.  

  • 13th of the Month Dungeon will not become available. 

Also, any mail that you received as clear rewards for the bonus dungeons can be claimed until the mail expires.


The Tier you reach for dungeons with Tiers will be saved for some time even after your subscription expires.


If you re-subscribe to P&D Pass while the Tiers are saved, the Tier you previously reached will be used as the base for the Tier for the dungeon that becomes available.


◆Additional Team Slots

The additional team slots will be available until 3:59 AM (UTC-8) of the day following the last day of your subscription period.


After 3:59 AM (UTC-8) of the day following the last day of your subscription period, the additional team slots will become unavailable, the saved teams will be deleted, and you will not be able to access these teams.

*Please note that even if you re-subscribe to P&D Pass after canceling the subscription, the saved teams will not return.


◆5% Bonus Rank EXP

The Bonus Rank EXP will be applied to dungeons entered by 3:59 AM (UTC-8) of the day following the last day of your subscription period.


◆Descended Series Dungeons and All-Days Dungeon

The dungeons will be playable until the subscription expires. If you re-subscribe to the P&D Pass, the cleared dungeons and floors will still be saved.  


◆P&D Pass Exclusive Badge

The P&D Exclusive Badge will be applied to dungeons entered by 3:59 AM (UTC-8) of the day following the last day of your subscription period. After 3:59 AM (UTC-8) of the day following the last day, the P&D Exclusive Badge will revert to Unlimited Max Team Cost Badge.


Bonus Dungeons are Not Appearing

Please note that bonus dungeons will not appear under the following conditions. 

  • If the bonus dungeon has expired before it has been cleared.  

  • If you cleared the dungeon already.  

  • If your P&D Pass subscription has expired. 


If you feel that you do not meet the above conditions, please note that performing Data Recovery may make the dungeon appear.


To perform Data Recovery, please tap [Data Recov.] on top of the Puzzle & Dragons title screen.
